Obstructive: Passive-Aggressive (Negativistic) Personality Disorder and Narcissism Video
Passive-aggressiveness wears a multitudes of guises: procrastination, malingering, perfectionism, forgetfulness, neglect, truancy, intentional inefficiency, stubbornness, and outright sabotage. This repeated and advertent misconduct has far reaching effects. Consider the Negativist in the workplace: he or she invests time and efforts in obstructing their own chores and in undermining relationships. But, these self-destructive and self-defeating behaviors wreak havoc throughout the workshop or the office.
People diagnosed with the Negativistic (Passive-Aggressive) Personality Disorder resemble narcissists in some important respects. Despite the obstructive role they play, passive-aggressives feel unappreciated, underpaid, cheated, and misunderstood. They chronically complain, whine, carp, and criticize. They blame their failures and defeats on others, posing as martyrs and victims of a corrupt, inefficient, and heartless system (in other words, they have alloplastic defenses and an external locus of control).
Passive-aggressives sulk and give the "silent treatment" in reaction to real or imagined slights. They suffer from ideas of reference (believe that they are the butt of derision, contempt, and condemnation) and are mildly paranoid (the world is out to get them, which explains their personal misfortune). In the words of the DSM: "They may be sullen, irritable, impatient, argumentative, cynical, skeptical and contrary." They are also hostile, explosive, lack impulse control, and, sometimes, reckless. @CoolerKing37 Since I posted this comment a lot has changed. At the time I made the comment I did a lot of research and everything I read told me to call them out on it every time they are acting in a passive aggressive manner. Everything I read pretty much told me not to put up with it? at all. This video was very helpful. The individuals were willing change and also were able to call themselves out after a while.

How are people suppose to deal with someone who is passive aggressive? I know one or two people? that this video describes. I've been reading about it and everything I've found says that it is a form of abuse. Does this mean that these people are abusing me in some way??

@videodesignerz he probably don't? 'f**king exist'. But how do anybody really know if some god exist? If you're referring to the Christian god, then I absolutely agree, he's dead. But in some sense he obviously did exist at some point - in people's minds, it is still an existence, and we see the results on a daily basis.

(cont) why they must be this way. Therefore you would have to judge on? a case by case basis as to if trauma or personality disorders (be it biochemical or otherwise) and such are responsible. From there I am sure they can be helped.

Very intelligently done. Much of what you said I have suspected myself for a long time. Not quite sure if classifying this as a disorder will help simply because as a narcissist your ego might not allow you to admit you have this problem in the first place to allow therapy to be accurately applied and used. You would have to almost wait for them to hit rock bottom and open their own eyes to see it for them to be helped. But in all reality there has to be an underlying reason? (cont)

Its all well to say people have personality? disorders based on the DSM. But if the the passive agressives are right in relation to authority, for example the banking cartel which manipulates people to sell themselves into slavery and usury because we dont have a proper money system. Social policies affect people and if we dont have rational authority but instead have irrational authority what are we supposed to do just label these people with passive agressive personality disorders.
